Windows Battlefield 2 1.5 Update Due September 1st

Finally, the patch has been given a date. It looks like it includes some good fixes too, especially widescreen support as that was the only reason I still have XP installed so that I could run widescreen fixer, which for some reason doesn't work in win 7.

Awesome! Some pretty significant tweaks there, can't wait to play it!

 

Plus i've heard they are giving awayh the addon packes (special forces / euro / armoured fury) for free.... , armoured fury is the best of the three TBH.

 

Just reinstalled my copy of the complete collection ready for this.

Was one of the best shooters IMO, but once I got a widescreen monitor, I lsot interest.

But now, I'll start playing again.

Good job I didn't pay full price for the expansions/complete edition now that they're giving them away free, else I'd be pretty pissed, , especially as I haven't really played them.
