    It is going to be called "battlefield 3 for Dummies" intended target is all the MW3 gamers that will see how much better BF3 is than MW3 and want to learn how to play a proper FPS game.

    I honestly can't imagine it will be a very interesting book.
    (interestingly the modernwarfare3 site is still getting bombed)

    A book? Really?

    Never understood the appeal behind video game novels, half of the experience is playing through the story first hand controlling your character along the way in a visual and interactive setting.

    For people that actually enjoy these things fair deal, just not going to be getting any of my money.

    why release a book based on the storyline of BF3, i know its not released yet but i can't help to think the story line to the game is going to be pretty weak, as with the previous games and in general all other games in this genre.
    i have never met anyone who bought games like BF or COD for their story-lines lol

    None of the other Battlefields even had a storyline. They don't need one, and neither does BF3, but the pressure of marketing to console gamers is high.

    go play your RPG for stories. Final Fantasy ---> that way.

    A book is nice for those who want something to read anyways. Don't judge it before you have read it.

    Hm, maybe worth a read, though only as PDF, wont buy it. Have noticed the bio-shock fiction book too, just not sure about this upcoming trend for game - book tie ins.
