    20Gb install - Origin better have some good servers (or whatever it takes to have fast downloads with lots of traffic) or else this is going to take people a while during the first few launch days. Think i'll buy it on disc.

    this is going to be close.......

    560 recommended, assuming at 1920x1080.
    can one 580 handle 2560x1440? there are 70% more pixels! 580 is only about 40% more powerful than 560.

    Ati 6870/Q9550/8GB/1920x1080 runs it beautifully with everything enabled based on what I have seen.

    20 gigs is also way over what you need, they are being overly cautious.

    20gb install. It's about time Steam allowed us to install games on other drives, I have to constantly delete games to fit them on my ssd. So many games I have wanted to play but are not installed.

    It's super easy to move your steam game directory, it's been that way for a while.

    I have a 640Gb WD just for Steam, just copy Steam to the HDD, unninstall Steam and install it on top of what you copied (the HDD), and you're done

    I understand the logic of this, however my Palit 460 fan was so infuriating that £30 I could muster for the Gelid ICE Rev 2 has turned into a godsend when I can't really justify the cost of a New card yet! It's personal preferences and circumstances of course but I am so happy with how quiet and cool my graphics card is now that I wish I'd done it sooner. That and I paid only £120 for the 460 brand new - over a year ago, it wasn't actually that much of an added cost for nothing.

    looking forward to Battlefield 3!!:p

    I'm with you i bought my XFX ATI 5830 card a year ago and with the fan on high it makes such a horrible noise and temps creak up fairly high 80-90c.I can't justify a new card yet. A 30 'Squid' cooler may just be what i'm looking for plus i can achieve a little OC without a massive concern i will brick my card and hopefully push some more performance out of it.
    Opinions welcome?

    The warranty on mine is going to end in 10 days... lol... I was one of the first to buy one of these babies :) When I'll sell it, I'll sell it cheap like 100€ or something, but it's a good card and I think that it will play the game at 1920x1200....

    ROFLMAO!!! :rock::hehe:

    but hey, i have a GTS640MB! not GT!!:p

    it'll hold medium settings.... im sure it will.... i mean, 560Ti is $200CAD and 6950 is $250+.... and thats after stupid mail-in-rebate. i hate MIR. maybe when i can save enough money ill grab somethin. but for now, $200CAD is a lot of money to play from Medium to High (or Ultra High) in 1680x1050...
