We live in the country side and our telephone system still consists of a piece of string with a cup at either end.

    Playable from 9am...

Preloaded, do I or don't I play it straight away at 9am Tuesday...

No doubt the whole of Origin/Battlelog will come crashing down at 9:01.

Looking forward to this. Played it at Eurogamer Expo, and came top of my team (manned the transport helo whilst the team gunned everything down) so only got about 2-3 kills myself but made a lot of impact!! (I like to think at least)

    It's haappening :D

I have been dying to get my hands on BF4. So much gameplay footage out there now. I should become a hardcore Youtuber just so I can get my hands on BF5

We live in a small village near badminton and to be honest for general use my connection is fine, I'm not too bothered about slowish downloads as I'll just leave the pc on over night.

It's not being able to stream tv channels on my tele that I find annoying and you can bet your ass our line won't get upgraded for years.

Massive plus point having the pre-load available for you though.

I'd be delighted with 600k, the best I get is 260k and no chance of it increasing. Openreach don't want to know as South Yorkshire went independent on fibre install and they have pretty much gone bust.

South Gloucestershire and Wiltshire have a joint BDUK program, which BT/Openreach is expanding their FTTC network further into the semi-urban/rural areas and most rural exchanges are Under evaluation.

If you line goes to a cabinet its likely you will see FTTC, though anything beyond 2.5km wont see a improvement.

The below checker with a bt number or address if on sky/tt llu will tell you if you are connected to a pcp- if nothing then likely a exchange only line.

If your getting Direct X errors when installing this is how to fix it.

    Go to this folder:

    1) C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 4 Beta\__Installer\directx\redist

    2) Create a new folder inside the redist directory. Name it anything you want, it doesnt matter

    3) There will be a lot of dated .zip or .cab files. Move all the .cab files into the new folder that you just created but do NOT move the DXSETUP.exe, DSETUP.DLL or dsetup32.dll. Keep these three files in the same place you found them.

    4) Reinstall BF4 through origin. It should work now.

I have no idea, just says 09:00 on the game icon. I'm hoping Origin a displays local time and not EST, because if it's EST that will suck.
