News Battlefield 4 Mantle update released, AMD drivers missing

    The Beta drivers only support Mantle on R9 290s and 290Xs though. :( The rest of us on 280Xs or 7970s will have to wait.

    Also, have they fixed the game yet?

    270x and the apus are also all mantle compatible if i remember right.

    The delay is to get full GCN coverage in the Mantle driver rather than releasing with just GCN1.1 support. That means HD7xx0, R9 280X, R7 270(X) and HD8xx0 support released too.

    Edit: in the end it looks like an installer issue caused a delay

    Hopefully this will help go towards fixing all the issues with 290 series cards and not just implement mantle.
