that's a nice arse, every thread needs a bit of nice arse. The side panel is starting to look very cool, pods are f'ing awesome, case is looking excellent already.... i hope there's gonna be some fine detailing on the sides & in all sections of the case, like what you did on the top... that stuff is awesome

Thanks Poisonous, and great avatar! :naughty:

    I agree, whole-heartedly.

Yes, there will be gratuitous amounts of detailing throughout. Hopefully I won't overdo it. It's so easy to put too much detail on.

Ya know, with poison's avatar we could do a Relix style infestation, only this would be much nicer to look at.

This last week was a hectic one for me, so I didn't get as much done as I had hoped. But I at least got the pods fitted to the case better.
    Here are a few shots:

You can see the cardboard template I made at the bottom of the last shot for notching the pods so they fit over the back of the side panels.
The right side was a bitch because I had to work around all the ribs. Thankfully, I hadn't gotten all the ribs on the left panel yet, so
those pods went on much easier.

Doesn't seem like much, but hey- some progress is better than no progress right? If all goes better this week,
I may be able to button up the side panels by the weekend.

INCREDIBLE attention to detail, theres not much one can say after that, youve already heard the OMFG's, AWESOME, WOW's, and the WTF....

So instead ill ask a question

Theres so much going on , with the case, top panel and side panels and now the rear boosters, is it easy to pull apart? coz it dosnt look like it would be

Thank you seth, and it will be fairly easy to disassemble. The side panels will slide out towards the back, allowing access to other parts of the case. I'm trying not to overdo it with all the ribbing everywhere. But it is hard since the actual ship is that way. I'm trying to end up with a good balance between ribbing and armor paneling. Right now though it looks like the ribs are winning. lol

Well now I just feel stupid. just kidding, I'm not a fan of the show, but i've seen an episode or two, the attention to detail is out of this world(harharharhar) Keep it up

PS sorry about the lame joke, but good work.

LOL thanks a lot guys! :D

I am starting to add some detail to the pods, before I commit to gluing them to the side panels. It's easier to work with them while I can get to the underside. Will post pics in a day or so.
