Now now, thats not strictly a BMW E30, that's taking the bits that work well and putting them in something that also works well. Moar power to your elbow sir :) (not that you'll need it in a car that light)

Whilst the show is still good viewing, I'm finding it getting a little too irrelevant. The whole "scripting" debate is now old, but am I the only one who feels that the hammed-up acting could be turned down a bit?

I have to say, Clarkson's "What a machiiiiine!" comment has never been as relevant as when he screamed it whilst driving that Zonda R... What an absolutely stunning piece of engineering! :D

I agree, although I would loved to have seen the road going version in the hands of Tiff The Stig, to see what the lap time would be.

My jaw literally dropped open when he read out the time! It wasn't just a little faster than the Atom V8, it completely blew it off the board! With all the production costs, reasons you can't buy one and drive it around and so on set aside, I have a serious amoun of respect and admiration for the people who are responsible for that car being in existence.

    It was on slicks remember!

Awesome car though and a good episode as well (although not as awesome as last week) and Pegg and Frost were much better than Jonathan Woss...

All in all I found it to be a pretty good episode.

There's still a whole lot more power there than the Atom V8 though, and clearly lots more downforce too. The thing just sticks to the road through corners like it's bolted down! :D

Pretty much. The whole "Oh no we've cocked up, let's just run away before they notice!" thing was funny the first time they did it a few years ago but it's getting a bit old now, especially when they use the same joke 3 times in the same episode.

It's just starting to feel so incredibly dumbed down and used I hardly enjoy the series anymore :( Shame. Funny idea with the harvesters, but unpractical and everything other than that was just rubbish.

I dunno, I think there is some mileage in converting vehicles into gritters & snow ploughs- all a gritter lorry is afterall is just a truck with a blade on the front. Stick a gritter attachment on the rear that is towed rather than integral to the lorry = instant gritter lorry that doesnt cost ££,£££ & can be converted back to normal use very quickly.

Besides, they had Amber Heard as the SIARPC! :jawdrop:
