Apart from the Ferrari feature, I did think this weeks episode was rather weak. Even my Mrs commented on how bad it was with May and Clarkson driving those Peugeot's like morons was quite a rubbish feature.

I actually quite enjoyed the Peugeot sketch. May got the Peuget driver look down to a pat!

It mainly involves having the seat really far forwards, which is something I'm very guilty of lol.

Peugeot bit was waaaay too long (and boring). Would have been better cut down. It's a shame they didn't have a longer segment on the Corvette and Porsche Cayman GTS - both are epic cars that deserved a bit more screen time and a bit more of an explanation.

Still, better than Call the Midwife.

You can't beat a decent spot of Peugeot bashing - which is exactly what most Peugeot drivers do. Every day. On the road.

The 407 still reminds me of a Basking Shark.

If they rolled the Peugeot bit into a review of the 208GTi I don't think it would of been so bad but to go through the history with no point at the end....well....yawn.

    I'm wearing a flame proof coat for this but . . . . I don't dislike the 407.

Our car is a 406. I don't mind it at all, apart from the alarm that sounds continuously when you exceed about 77mph is a bit ****ing annoying and I've not figured out how to disable it yet.

The Peugeot section of the show seemed to last about half-an-hour and was getting very tedious by half way through.

Last week's episode featured lots of filler material. This week's too.

Probably won't stop me watching it though cos there's feck all else to watch on a Sunday evening.

I thought the section where they were blabbing on about how difficult it is to road test the three hypercars together was a good few minutes of free padding time.

The peugeot bit was most amusing however they neglected to mention they manufactured coffee grinders in the distant past. The rest of the show was kind of meh.. Does anyone else bypass the star in the car bit or is it just me?

Given how they like playing the wind-up card so much, I would encourage them to consider turning the 'Star in a reasonably priced car' section into 'Pornstar in a reasonably priced bra'. Same deal, crap car being raced round the track, but instead, only using busty women wearing tight-fitting, low-cut tops.

I think it'd do well. I think there's an engorged misogyny market begging to be tapped right now.

Never watch that bit, it smacks a little too much of worshipping at the altar of celebrity for me.

Skip it every week, its now just a way for people to promote their upcoming film rather than having celebs who actually have an interest with motoring.

I was just about to remind everyone,

In this episode of the world's biggest car programme, Richard Hammond is dropped into the remote, frozen wastes of Canada to test a watch with a built-in emergency beacon. Normally, activating the device would summon a vast international rescue crew, but in Hammond's case, the distress signal is sent directly to Jeremy Clarkson and James May who are disorganised, disinterested and very many miles away. Eventually, the pair get their hands on two machines they believe are suitable for the job and set off on an epic adventure to find their colleague.

Also in this show, Clarkson is on the track in the new 471-horsepower Lexus RC F coupe whilst star of The Fall and The X-Files Gillian Anderson tries her hand in the Reasonably Priced Car.
