My first review on my own channel, and what a ****ing ball-ache it's been. First I thought NDA lift was the 29th, was the 23rd so missed it by miles. Then when I was close to finishing all the testing I found the fan controller had crapped out and I had no record of what the fans did after I set them, so had to do most of it again. Then out of practice, it took an absolute age to edit, no real reason why, just sloth-slow. But here it is. It's done. Weekend off to visit friends in Stoke. EDIT: And for one final balls-up, YouTube processing took forever but now has 1080p available If you want a TLDR; they're be quiet! fans. You think they're gonna make a **** fan!?
At 27 minutes I think that has to be one of the most comprehensive fan reviews Ive ever seen! Like it, like the style however if anyone else if like me, reviews that get to about 15-18 minutes for smaller items such as fans, accessories, coolers etc are about my limit. As for going to stoke for the weekend, condolences. My thoughts go out to you in this hard and troubling time..
Yeh, I don't do short. Even when I try to they still end up 20mins long! The one keyboard review I did was damn near 40! Didn't end up going to Stoke. Our friends live a bit outside up a few few long and often steep hills, which were pretty snowed over. Knowing our luck we would have totalled the car attempting it. Bit annoying, but we just spent the day together, got some nice food and laughed. Haven't been able to laugh about much for a while.
BAH ! Threatening to go to Stoke just to get sympathy views, followed by "oh, we never went 'cos SNOW" ... SNOW is a truly minor inconvenience compared to Stoke. Just think, you could have done a several hour video review of Stoke and saved ANYONE else having to go, but, no, no can't do that ... Selfish, that's what it is, Selfish.
You're right. That was just an excuse. Really I started getting flashbacks of the last time I went and the PTSD kicked in. Mrs Crap found me hiding under the bed armed with a ladle and a switch-comb, snarling and hissing if she got too close. You can't make me go back, man. No way.
