Be Quiet Silent Base 800 Casemod

Hello everyone. Today I have been given the opportunity to keep on my passion, case modding and for that I am grateful.
I will be using the Silent base 800 Silver Edition from Be Quiet. It only comes black + accent colors so I will be painting the whole case White. I am using Alphacool water cooling products and hardline tubing it is :thumb:
This will be X99 system with Geforce 970 Gpu. SSD's and other hardware will be shown when it arrives.

This is possible because of my 4 main sponsors. THANK YOU for your support :)

Now lets get on with it and take a look at the case and other hardware and mods.

Also has a dustfilter for the front

OH Yeah and a Power supply with legendary silent operation and Platinum... NICE.

I like you can hook up Fans or LED's if you like

The mods I am working on now is to fit 2x360mm x 60mm thick Alphacool NexXxos Radiators on top and front of the case so I had to open her up and do a surgery :)

After removing some rivets the cutting with dremel and jigsaw began.

    See if it Fits Now

Well that's my start on it. I am going to get it ready to fit so I can put aluminum plates on top and paint the chassis WHITE :dremel::dremel:

Thanks for tuning in and hope you like it,

Ice modz are awesome, decently priced custom cables & as long as they are around I'll never do my own cables. :D

    Subbed. :)

Well a small update of my radiator and how I did it.

I fastened the 2mm Aluminum plate with these machine screws M4
And the Stone could come in handy as prop in my Mod we will see

Nasty film on top of the Aluminum

There will be Fans on top of the Radiator and then the roof of the case so this wont be seen but I wont leave that stock. It will get a sleek looking cutout and aluminum

Stay tuned for more and thanks for stopping by

Well then. I began prepping the case for painting and all except outer panels are painted so take a look and have fun.

Now I need to keep on painting the rest of the case as well as cutting more aluminum panels for inside of the case and more.

Thanks for tuning in and come back for more updates soon...

Pretty cool project man. I like how you've got stuck in straight away with the cutting - haha! :dremel:

Also, I keep seeing lots of really good paint jobs on the forum. Did you do the paint yourself and what brand/techniques did you use?

    Thank you Chris. :thumb:

Yes I painted this myself and I am using a spray canister and the color number is 9010 and is from DupliColor >> Acrylic Lacquer Satin Matt Pure White is the name on the can.

Ah sweet. Thanks for info! I've used Rust-o-lium spray in the past, but Dupli-Colour looks like Automotive paint? - Hard Core! No wonder the finish is professional..

    Hi people.

I kept on today and and put some 2mm Aluminum sheet metal in the case.
I used m3 or 6/32 which was already on the case from factory so it saved me some tapping and only thing left for the 2panels is cut for Radiator and cable management + paintjob on those .

so the plastic taps fit I roughly filed some bits of.

Just checking if the front bezel fits :)

And it fits. I want to touch up the corner were the tabs show even though they will not be seen with the windowed sidepanel

Thats it for now. Share your opinion if you like and until next time
    Take Care.

hey fellow modders, readers and lurkers :)
In this Update we see I spray-painted the side fanhole/airvent white and taped over the be quiet letters and painted one coat of silver acrylic over the black letters. Final touch on those letters still needs to get second layer of it.

Also I am working on PSU cover only leaving out the side for white acrylic. Lets take a look at the photos and low light problem on couple of them
