    no matter how many "be quiet" logos you engrave on a PSU with fan, it can never be as quiet as a fanless PSU.

    There's no reason any decent brand PSU shouldn't be able to run passive at idle nowadays - not with the minuscule consumption of modern components. This isn't 2008!

    I thought my £75 Corsair SF450 was expensive for a PSU - this is bonkers at £100.

    Yeah, my Silverstone SX600-G isn't this noisy either, despite being SFX and not SFX-L.

    The noise level does seem odd as aren't their case fans fairly good?
