Xbox 360 Beautiful Katamari

Well I think I'm giving up with this game now as I cannot do SeaDome whatsoever I've tried around 50 times and I get to 21m every time just before the clock times out. I can't progress without doing it and as it's stopped being fun trying now I can't see me doing any more. Quite gutted. I keep getting trapped and rolling totally blind as all I can see is a close up of the scenary. I even tried to follow a guide for SeaDome and it didn't work at all (I only got 13m that time!).

 

AH yeah I remember that one, it's one of the hardest of the lot IMO. I had a problem like that with We love Katamari, one request (the one with the elephant with the bird on top) I found really difficult. I couldn't do it after several attempts so gave up. Came back to the game a few weeks later and for some reason I did it first try and beat the score by miles.

My advice for that level is to first, not worry about actually rolling up sea objects, rolling up the city and land masses is great for making the katamari big, and I still managed to get mostly ocean even though I rolled up a lot of non-sea objects.

 

That must have been some short...

 

I'm with Veles. There is a lot of subtlety to the graphics (depth blurring, for one) that is functional to the game but you won't consciously notice. It is meant to look cartoon-ish, not ultra realistic. And it's awesomely addicitive.

 

Yep that's what I'm doing (completely avoiding the theme and just trying to complete it). Came back to it yesterday after a few weeks away from it and I still can't get anywhere near. Bored now cos there's not a lot else I can do without that completed. Might have to get someone to come round and do that one for me just so I can progress!

 

That's why hype/gossip = teh evil, and why you should never, ever listen to it. Word of mouth is a poisoning force; shun it, and enjoy more games as a result. Trust me.
