Oh, I don't know... It might be a couple of generations old but it's still a very very good PC. Clearly whoever built it knew what they were doing, so you'd have to assume it's a decent PC, and it's got a full tower Lian Li! Personally I'd say it was easilyworth £300.
Yeah, this is worth £300 all day long. Obviously the case could be worth a decent amount more depending on what it is. Chip is probably worth more as well given it's one of the best 775 chips you can buy, It will probably gain value in the next year if anything.
I'm with you, I would imagine you would get more than £300 if you split it up. I'd buy it for £300, in fact I'm tempted to make an offer! EDIT: add another GTX 285 and overclock the CPU and it will be good for a few years still.
Definitely, I don't know though. Just looking at the list of components, I'd be shocked if the guy who built that PC didn't put a decent PSU in it but you never know. I'd snatch his hand off personally.
Not saying its not a good PC, but really, give me £300 and I could build a better one, or put the money to better use on a new GPU, SSD etc
Well, there's no way you could build a better full tower for £300, not a chance in hell. Certainly not with that case. Obviously an SSD in his current system would do no harm... but I presumed he wasn't looking to replace his current rig. On its own, for £300, that system is pretty untouchable. Challenge accepted?
