    English: bending brake
German: Abkantpresse (I think; my GCSE German's a bit rough!)

that's just what I need. I'll probly make one someday.

edit: not all bending brakes will have that feature, but you should be able to find one that does. they are just alot more money.

abkantbank in German. Froop - where have you seen them for €30 over here? Any chance you can let me know so I can get one, can't find them anywhere I live for less than 120 and that's the small table top models.

Yes, that will work - I have the same one, and bend pretty nice alu-sheeting with it - see last page in my HP Blackbird Project log.

They are rated for I think 1.2mm aluminium only, buyt, if you bend slowly, and carefully, and not bigger than around 300mm, you can bend 2mm aluminium....

    Enjoy ;)

    edit: In english it's called either press-break, pan-break, bench-break or a sheet-metal bender.

i have a nice box and pan brake i snagged for $300 on craigslist. its sweet- 16 gauge and 48". talk of a steal.

The one you linked will be able to make boxes- any will that have those removable teeth. Its limited to the kind of box you can make, but worst case scenario you can re-design the box and fold it in a different way.

    Cheers!!
