A dumb question I know ;) but what is the best fan for a 120mm blowhole......something quiet ish would be nice, but most places I know of stock the freakishly loud Ystech hi outputs (as noisy as a Delta).

Anywhere know where in the UK I can order the 120mm clear 'globe' branded fan, as these are pretty quiet but still move a fair bit of air.......otherwise its a very loud sunon or Ystech for me :( unless i 7v it, which I dont really want to do......

Panaflo = too much moolah :(

Looking at the AVGS 120mm sleeve bearing one atm.....not bad, 74cfm at 37.4dbA, but I'd rather have the low output sunon....

Sleeve bearing fans are usually quieter in actual fact, but dont last nearly as long! :)

Decided to go for high output sunon anyway guys, unless someone has any better suggestions........if its too loud I will 7v it!

We pay like £18 for a Panaflo 120mm (untailed, so we need to add our own Molex connector onto the wires) and £12 for a Sunon!

All 120mm fans here are really expensive, the cheapest being the AVGS at £7. You US guys are so lucky, here is too expensive :(

BTW how loud is a 120mm fan at 7v, and roughly how much air will it shift? The sunon is 108cfm, and 42Dba at 12v...........

$15 for a 120mm panaflo (high or low) @ PCMods.com and I know they ship to the UK... might want to look into having them send you stuff... might be cheaper :D... means what 10pounds for the fan, plus shipping (&vat if applicable).. might be worth it if you plan on buying a lot

No can do mate :( I am only after one fan, and I need it by the end of the week definitely.......

Also we get stung by the taxman for anything we import that they just happen to take as a sample of each deilivery of parcels into the UK.....if mine ends up in there, I could get stung for a flat rate import duty or something :(

Yeah that Comair moves less air than the sunon I've ordered and is noiser as well! thanks for the suggestion anyhow mate :)

BTW am I mad in that I have only bought a grill for the outside, and that should by cd sound cables become entangled in that thing  oh well the air blast will keep them away :D
