Still nothing on my 9500 even with using just the hacked file. Must be some very broken pipelines :(. Still clocks nicely though :D

Cheers for the help anyway :thumb:

Im using atiTool on my current 9700pro and have hit 9800pro speeds but only for short periods :(

It can sustain 360/330 all day though, thats with a not particularly well fitted ac silenser, i need to get some alcohol to clean off the remainder of the old thermal glue to get a better fit ont the core before i can fully realise its full potential.

Rivatuners cool. Moved to Ati-tool recently though, as it was all I could find on cd...
    Much easier to use :)

ati tool is easier to use than rivatuner in my mind, at least at face value anyways.

Had a bit of a disaster trying to get the rest of the thermal glue off my 9700 pro, in that i took 3 of the surfance mounted componants off the core, it still runs but is a bit down on power.

I have however now got my 9500 128Mb non pro, have softmodded it up to 9700 core, and hit 9700 pro clocks fairly easily, current compare here I managed to get all the thermal glue off this one too so have managed to get better core clocks than my 9700 before i crippled it.

Highlander, did you follow a guide to voltmod yours? if so any pointers cautions?

Erm my brother (Persivore from XS, one of their vmod guru's) did mine.
I'd recommend you do VDDQ and Vref as well as vMEM and vGPU tbh.
Other than that, make sure you have some decent cooling. Might be an idea to mod the PSU's 3.3 and 5v lines too tbh.
Running 2.9 vMem and 1.7 vGPU atm, no problem, cards hardly warm at all with a P4 sink and 92mm tornado.
