No idea, the focus has shifted on 19" or widescreen displays now. A Samsung or Viewsonic would probably be good.
As said above, I doubt you'll find any 17" monitor with latest technologies. Widescreen 20" monitors are so cheap nowadays that even if there were still 17" on the market, they wouldn't be worth it
I've got a REAL crappy 15 inch that just went bust. Literally just switches on for 1 sec, off for 4, repeat and so on. Pissed off so now I'm goign to have to waste money getting a new one, so I might aswell get a better one. I'd like a 17 cause I don't have that much money to spend, infact 2000HK maximum which I think is 2000 divided 14?. I'd love to get a 19inch and simply typing "19inch monitor review" in google turns up some websiets like pcworld that rank top 10 monitors and I seem to like the Dell UltraSharp 1907FP or Dell UltraSharp 1905FP. The usb ports are a very nice feature for me however I don't really know what the difference between the two models is? Lastly, those monitors seem to definaetlyt be over 2000 for me, so :/ 17inch then I guess? What a dilemma, what should I do? Definately need to get a monitor asap! (Apologise for the quick and undetailed post, have had to use a computer at my sports club!)
If that's your budget ou7blaze... there are plenty of 19" - and even 20" TFT screens available for £125... even here in the UK, where our prices are generally higher than in many other countries So I'd have thought you'd be able to pick one up in Hong Kong itself at that price (or less)?
Haven't looked at monitors for a long time (obviously you can tell with the 15 inch I am (WAS) using!) Wow monitors are alot cheaper then I thought, I just got a Philips 19' 190CW widescreen, and my god is it awesome! Since I have however bought it now just wondering are the specs actually good? The quality seems really good, the build is nice with good shiny finish etc etc
If you're as happy with it as you say you are (and especially if you don't have the budget to replace it) then the specs are perfect.
