    Clockwork Angels by Rush...

Not as good as older Rush, but still pretty nice!

An Awesome Wave was frankly, awesome.

    2nd Law was alright.

Can't wait for the new Queens album next year (And possibly Them Crooked Vultures).

I can't really pin down a best album there have been quite a few:

    Anaal Nathrakh - Vanitas
    Pig Destroyer - Book Burner
Neurosis - Honour Found In Decay
The Civil Wars - Barton Hollow
    Gojira - L'Enfant Sauvage
    Ahab - The Giant
    Enslaved - RIITIIR

Those are probably my top albums of the year I think. There are probably a few I've forgotten.

Yes that album is complete bonkers. Great fun though.

Alt-J - one of the few albums that all three generations of my family like!

YelaWolf and Travis Barker - Psycho White - Being both a drummer and rap fan this album is just crazy.

The new John Frusciante album is just amazing. The track 'bike' is the best thing that I have ever heard.

Not my usual genre but I think the album I've played the most this year has been Of Monsters and Men - My Head is an Animal.

It's a close race between Atlas by Parkway Drive and Sleddin' Hill: A Holiday Album by August Burns Red.

Oh yes forgot to add that audio-show favourite; Hugh Masekela - Hope. It's awesome.

What!? I thought it outstripped Deep Blue and nears Horizons and Killing With A Smile in terms of brilliance!

I really didn't rate it whatsoever, really glad I missed them live with Emmure, would have been a terrible night of idiots swinging their arms round etc. I'm glad I went to Gojira the night before, went in a real pit, got pissed and fell over singing to The Way of All Flesh lol... I love Parkways earlier stuff mind.

Just bought Let's Submerge, XRay Spex greatest hits. Not as good as I remembered to be honest. Going to crank up something later, just not sure what... As an aside, I think 2012 is the first year I've not bought any vinyl, need to get the LP12 out of storage in 2013... :)
