Games I will be playing are:
    Starcraft
    Warcraft III
    World of Warcraft
    CounterStrike
    CounterStrike: Source
    UT2k4

I'm thinking of getting an FX5200? Try to keep it as cheap as possible. I don't nessesarly want to play them at highest settings. this is basically going to be a tamparary card for a fe months until I save up more money.

the ultra will cost. If you can get a 5700regular for cheep or in the very least find a 128bit 5200 as the 64bit one is totaly cripled.

Honestly, if its only temporary, I'd look to get a used card, you could probably get one twice as powerful for the same price.

    How about this?
Yes its a g4ti 4200 but it will perform better than the 5200 and its about 80bux
Or this one Yes its a 5200 but it is 128bit so it should give you better performance.

Club 3D Radeon X300 256Mb DDR - I think that this card is good. (I have no experiences of it, but it sounds good) The prize of this card is ~150 EUR in Finland.

I have now GeForce 4 Ti 4400 128Mb graphic card and I have 100 FPS in CS 1.6. Not tested in Doom3 or CS:S Beta.. UT2004 worked also well. This card cost 200 EUR about 2 years ago when I bought this..

X300 is native PCI-Express - it's ludicrously overpriced and slower than a Radeon 9600 XT.
