So i just got my cosmos 1000 with a window side panel, and i wont to replace the stock fans with somthing with more CFM and bling... also ill will be moding the cooling to the HDD area later but one thing at a time. i have the Coolermaster Full Alloy 4 in 3 Devices Module [ linky ] installed which is empty as im only using it to pull more air for the CPU and RAM. So what are the best and UK available case fans that is blue LED with a good CFM but still dont scream at you. I was thinking these fans: linky linky Approx Fan Speed: 500 - 1000 rpm Fan Airflow: 26.51 - 46.10 CFM Sound Level: 8 - 12 dB
if you go on Ebay and get one of the unbranded (non lED) fans, they work a treat at 88cf/m (and don't cost the earth) and you can alays get a few LEDs to go behind them? Fans aren't my strong point (obviously ) but it's a starting idea?
Didn't CK do a review of these, or a short video of em... They look wicked, and they seem solid... If CK reads this, I'm sure he can tell you his experiences with his fans.
Akasa make OK to good fans, here is a blue LED one. Also, they're very cheap However, they come with screws that are completely, utterly, useless. If you have any spare then use those instead. Also, I think their non-LED fans are better.
thanks for the replys guys, but the enermax still look to be the best. and i know what you mean with the Akasa, i fitted my mate a 120mm fan by them, it was horrable to fit i ended up redrilling the holes in the fan so it would fit. do not recommend Akasa tbh
+1 Looking at that, I took a look at the Enermax fans, and this one seems to have the best CFM to noise ratio. However, I don't think it's LED. This one, however, is LED, and according to the website (in the link) changes speed automatically (I guess dependent on temperature). The other 120mm fan they make (using their own type of bearing) is PWM, which isn't really useful for a case fan TBH. Edit: I am dumb. You linked to the Enermax Everest in the thread start post I vote go for it You had the right choice all along IMO xD
If I were you, I'd go for a set of these Yate Loon D12SL I know that they are out of stock in the shop I've listed, but look for them. I use the non-LED version of the D12SL, and even at 12v they are very quiet, and push quite a bit of air, but 9v is where these fans shine. Dead silent, but still decent airflow.
I 2nd the yates as i have 2 of the led versions in my pc currently, very nice fans for 7 dollars a piece.
got the fans i originally sed Enermax UCEV12 Everest TWISTER, sick performance and totaly silent also look very very nice! very very blue ^^
