Storm is one of the best currently being made, AFAIK.
    Cascade SS is amazing too.

Really depends on the loop, and what your cooling.

As tad mentioned they are increasingly rare to find; the Storm G5 is nice but a real kick in the teeth in terms of pricing. Failing them get a Swiftech Storm :)

Full production block. The storm hands down.

Speciality water block nothing beats the storm g5. Solid silver base and nice product all together.

If you still like large bore and want cheep with resonable performance the swiftech 6000series and the apoge are decent blocks.

Thanks all, just want to know, i dont care if im overcomplicating things, but is 2 loops a good idea if i want to use the cool-o-matics, and if yes, what tubing to use, id like to use tygon because of nothing but good things i have heard about it, but which type of tygon and what size for both loops?

Make a 3/8", 7/16" or, 1/2" loop for the CPU only and then a smaller 5/16" (8mm) or 1/4" (6mm) loop for everything else. I'm not sure if the Cool-Matic's are restrictive (I never opened mine up), but if they're anything like the Graph-O-Matic internall;y, they should not be too restrictive to use with the Storm.

If you're going small bore the G5 is great block, as is a Nexxos XP - it beats the Cascade-SS by a bit, but is beaten by the Storm G5.

Honestly with the storm on there I would not bopther with two loops. The storm is tweaked to perform very well with high flows and lower flows.

Most of the time two loops overcomplicate things.

and the storm does come with both 3/8ths and 1/2 barbs hence the tweaking in both higher and lower flows.

Well then thats your taste. Personaly im contrary to most of the guys around here. I like things simple functional and efective. I like a watercooling system with big old pipes in it and large bore all the way. Hence my current setup of being a 1/2id system being fed through a heatercore and a swiftech mcw5002 powerd by a hydor l30. Check out my sign for my other project (voyager 2.0). Can you say hard line?

As Shadowed fury points out, you've been around the watercooling block a few times. This will be customholle's first attempt.

Complicated is not necessarily better than simple. It is not necessarily even any good at all. The best design and engineering is minimalist: it does one thing (in this case: cooling), does it well, and does it with a minimum ammount of fuss and maximum reliability.

"In der Beschränkung zeigt sich der Meister" ;)
