Am I this out of touch? I've never heard of any of these groups. Does Soundgarden, Nirvana, etc count?

While I do agree that Nirvana was at the bottom of the barrel, I was refering to the style ;)

I guess that I don't know what the hell "dance" music is.

    Wait...

What about that "Gonna Make you Sweat" song or whatever the name was. Is that what you're considering "dance" (not that I like the song mind you)?

Dad - can I formulate a list of bands your children must listen to? It will help them become better citizens :) ;)

No no... I have it covered. I have them listening to nearly everything from Tchaikovsky to Pitchshifter and the Dead Kennedys to Pink Floyd. No help needed thank you... ;) Actually I'm having a tough time with my youngest boy (he's 11). He asked for a :shudder: Sean Paul cd for x-mas - damn pier pressure.

HAHAHA Sean Paul is the crappiest crap that was ever called music. But basically, the whole 90s sucked. There was some good stuff (Blue def up there in the top howevermany), but as an era of music, it sucked.

    Beat me to it, Kna...

The nineties were great...I spent the first five years listening to my uncles metal collection. And by that I don't mean Iron Maiden or Black Sabbath...I mean Carcass, Godflesh, Napalm Death, Cathedral...
