Xbox 360 Best Elite deals?

    Basically as the title. I'm looking to get an Elite next week (Monday, student loan + first paycheque permitting). I'm not interested in any included games other than Bioshock or Halo 3, although getting those in a bundle would be pretty unlikely. I'm currently thinking the best plan of action would be to get one of the decent Elite deals from Gamestation and just trade on in the surplus games.

    So any great deals or offers you guys have seen, please, let me know!

    Blockbuster do them for £300 including halo 3 instore (or at least they did when I was in).

    Cheers too Doug. I've just seen on Gamestation they've got a deal with Forza 2, Blue Dragon and an additional wireless pad for only 310. Does anyone know anything about this one in particular? It says "Wireless Entertainment Bundle (Forza 2 pack)" which might be like that PGR one they did. As sad as it sounds, I wouldn't bother if it wasn't a black controller.

    Screw that then. I'll double check in town in a bit. Stranglehold is also a game I'd be interested in getting with it, purely because I could just sell it straight on to my housemate.

    Yeah its the white pad. Woolworths sell this Entertainment bundle which consist of Forza 2 and a White Wireless pad for only £34.99 online.

    Bargin if you aint got Forza 2 yet.

    Don't bother with Bioshock.

    Yeah, it's good to buy if you think you'll replay it, but you can get every achievement and basically do everything in one play through.

    Dont anyone replay games anymore?? There are so many Pre-owned Bioshocks available and a complete bargin if you have not bought it yet but still. I like to come back to single player games every 8 months or so.

    Maybe its just me, I never sell any games until its time to sell the console.

    I don't even sell consoles, always keep 'em. Sometimes I will sell a game if I know I won't replay the game, a lot of the games I have I hardly play, but I've kept a lot of them just encase I decide to pick them up again on a rainy day. BioShock is one of those games I'm probably going to play through again at some point, however, Condemned, King Kong and Enchanted Arms I'm very unlikely to play again so they're on my sell pile.

    I'll just put it simply, there's no way I'm not getting Bioshock. Simple as.

    That out of the way, yes matey, I am gonna be up for a lot of Halo 3. Get in. All the guys at my workplace are getting it and we're doing loads of matches against our sister store. Gonna be awesome.

    So yeah, I think any of the Blue Dragon + [extra game] bundles will be the best bet. I'd go for the Forza one but I reckon it might be the kind of bundle that's got 'not for resale' slapped all over it. Cheers for the info.

    I can't see anything about Bioshock to inspire a replay. Far too easy to be worth the effort, and nothing terribly jaw dropping to see again.

    Out of interest K, why are you going for an Elite anyway? Not being cheeky, just wondering.

    I loved the atmosphere, the design, everything. I just want to play through the whole thing myself.

    Well, I need a 360 since I had to sell my Premium last month to make rent. And I really would like an Elite because black is the new black. Plus, bigger HDD and guaranteed HDMI is thumbs up for me.
