Best Fight Scene?

    what movie has the best fight scene do you think. I personally like gladiator.
    but whats your opinion im interested.

    Hmmmmm. hard one that is cuz theres just so many :jawdrop: Equilibrium has some amazing fight scenes as does Matrix, The One with Jet Li is just absolutly :jawdrop: imo, then theres animation.. the list goes on so i'll carry on when i remember more :p .

    I think Equilibrium has some of the best. I'm always amazed by the fight at the end. The hand to hand with pistols. Trying to shoot from point blank and the speed and blocks...

    Then there's martial arts movies like Hero, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Iron Monkey that all have amazing fight seens.

    Just one of many, but the Bar Fight in "Project A" (Jackie Chan) is pretty good.. actually most of Jackie Chans fight scenes before he got into Hollywood are pretty awesome.

    Gandalf vs. the Balrog of Morgoth in Fellowship/Two Towers. Although, my real favorite was the book version of Eowyn vs. the Witchking of Angmar in RoTK.

    And just about any of the art/martial arts movies that finally have been released in the US recently. Some of the swordplay in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon is the best I've ever seen.

    A close runner up would be the final duel between Liam Neeson and Tim Roth in Rob Roy.

    Gotta agree, most jackie chan/bruce lee kinda martial art movies have immense fight scenes!

    I dunno what the *best* fight scene I've ever seen is, but probably the most unique was the oil fight scene in The Transporter. Tis quite cool, had never seen anything like it when I saw the movie :)

    Gotta agree with both of these, though the end fight in Drunken Master 2 is amazing, though im an all round Jackie Chan nut. Got around 40 of him movies so far, if anyone has any for sale pm me!!

    Not a movie.. But anytime Peter Fights the Chicken in Family Guy..

    I'd have to agree on gladiator..

    Most of the fights from the first Matrix, and the Mr.Smiths fight from the second..

    Also liked the fighting in Bourne Identity and Resident Evil 2

    Just thought of a few more, Jet Li in Kiss Of The Dragon when he walks into the room full of officers with nightsticks then proceeds to kick their ass :rock: Also him in Cradle 2 The Grave when he's in the underground fighting ring.

    You can't go past the dialogue in that fight.

    For sheer size of combatants - Ripley in the exoskelton vs Alien mother in Aliens(?). Not the best of all time but enjoyable to watch.
