I'm a bit of an Indie kid so Burnout 3 and Burnout Revenge really do it for me :)

FF Advent Children OST rocks for some mellow tunes. I'd highly recommend.

hmm, let's see here. Baldur's Gate 1 & 2 were definately AMAZING soundtracks, as was Icewind Dale (never played 2 though). Neverwinter Night's was pretty good too. CoD 1/2 had some pretty incredible orchestral scores, and as to mario that doesn't count - start humming it and even non gamers join in :D

    GTA:VC and...
    OMFG LOL!!
    Deus Ex!
The title music is pure pwnage.

It's apparent I've missed out by not playing any of these FF games!

I'm suprised so few people have tagged TA in their list of favorites. That soundtrack is incredible!

My personal favorites change around a lot depending on my mood, but here's my current top 5:

    1. Total Annihilation
    2. Super Mario Galaxy
    3. Grim Fandango
    4. The Curse of Monkey Island
    5. The Legend of Zelda: Windwaker

WHY HAS TETRIS NOT BEEN MENTIONED?!

and for the record, nothing will ever touch ff7 music, ever. Good attempts were:
Bioshock- Nearly cryed with joy when papa loves mambo came on in the shopping bit, and the classical music that the artist put on when he tryed to attack you mid challenges is great, fitted well with whacking splicers with my wrench (lot of w's)
    Ocarina of Time
    Unreal Tournament
    C&C
Team Fortress 2- the menu tracks are fantastic, the carnival-ish one often makes me wait till it stops playing till i join a server

Portal, despite the obvious track of Still Alive the rest of the music is atmospheric and superbly scored.

Saints row and Forza 2 have good music. Also there were some great tracks on the Grand Turismo games.
