Iv been looking at alot of cases for my new gaming pc, and im unsure of whats a good case, my perfect case would be quiet, cool and look good, maybe even a few led fans, does anyone no any good ones out there? Also im not too bothered about size aslong as it can hold am ATX board.

    Thanks ;)

The quietest case is a Fractal Design Define R3 but it isn't particularly showy and doesn't have spinning LED fans! It is however a fairly painless case to build a PC in and curbs noise.

Coolermaster Advanced 690 ii is a nice option and I have a feeling may be your bag style-wise

Anything Lian Li is generally also excellent, just quite pricey

Budget is 100-150 i can push to 200 but that would needto be for an amazing case, and style, anything really, just something that looks good really

Buy a fractal R3 then hire someone from the modding section from the remainder to make it amazing.

That's a great case but it is a bag of holes, so you would hear your PC!

If size is no issue go for the ATCS840, you'll never need another case :) Looks great, full Alu at a great price, great build quality, amazing cooling and it has the best motherboard tray ever :)

really does depend on looks and what your trying to achieve. but other factors such as noise, airflow and layout can swing people but not as much as looks do. another biggy is size. micro cases, mid-cases and large cases will influence hardware you can fit in it. graphics cards are huge nowdays and you might want more then average number of HDDs etc.

i built serveral pcs in corsair 800d. all on air even tho it didnt have great airflow. but people like the design and style so much they jump in head first. airflow isnt too bad just be willing to add aftermarket fans.

    +1

Love this case. Just make sure you get the later revision with the penetrator fans and extra 3.5" bays.

    eeeeeeeewwww :hehe:

Whilst I don't like the look of the Antecs, the 902 at least has good cooling. The others I can't really say but I doubt they compare well to the oft recommended cases.

Go for the Raven - perfect for your needs and budget.

    It is a fantastic case

I agree. I have a P182 and it is not quiet (even at low speed, and I only have an IGP). Plus, the P182 is a pain in the arsh to build a PC in (but it has a nice looking).

Towards the top end of the budget there is the Obsidian 700D, the Fortress FT02S and the Coolermaster ATCS 840 - all worth a look.
