First time ive posted on this site in a long time... I got myself a new rig.. amd 6000+, 4gb ram, 2 X 20" monitors Anyway I'm running 4 hard drives and 2 8800gtx's on a 400w slienX powersupply.. which is extremely impressive for such a old PSU.. how ever when I do start to play crysis it stinks of a burning smell.. I'm the process of watercooling my rig and running 1 X hard drive. (Moving the other hard drives to a file server).. I have been looking all over the place for a good powersupply costing no more than 100quid.. current decided on: http://www.ebuyer.com/product/144085# Most PSU's don't come with 4 X pci-e slots. Which is extremely annoying. What's your thoughts?
welcome back Corsairs PSU's are very popular and highly regarded, the TX750 has 4x pcie and will supply more than enough juice, and in case you haven't read Bit's review I've seen posts on the net with overclocked q6600's and sli gtx's running on the modular HX620, but you only get two pcie cables unless its changed since I bought mine
