Which one trumps all? I'm stuck between Crystalfontz and Matrix Orbital and which one of theirs to buy. I don't want to spend more than $70.

Question: To use this, will I just need this and not have to do any soldering, just hook it up via USB to my computer?

    Yes, the
WRUSBY03 USB A(male) to 2mm connector cable, for external hookup or
WRUSBY11 4 single pin connectors to 2mm connector cable, 18" length, for the internal onboard USB header.

But TBH i have that CF634 USB and it's kinda slow, my MO 2x20USB on the other hand is very fast and build/display quality is much better.

I've owned two MO (both 4 x 20 models) and they've been rock solid. I really like the LCDC software that's used to drive them as well. Lot's of plug-ins and a good community to help you with questions/problems.
