I need to quiet my sassy comp. www.pcmods.com sells the rheobus v 2.0 for $30.00 down from $60.00 awhile ago. Is this the best for the money? What are my other options for multiple fan control?

I'd preferr an Electrobus. Macro did a article on how to make one.

Yeah i prefer my electrobus to my PWM controler, the PWM stall's my deltas or just makes them screw up!

Thats a Sunbeam rheobus jobbie, looks quite nice and works great. Review here if you're interested. They are $37.99 I think, looks better than the PCMods one imho. :)

no one makes them commercially, which is strange cos they're by far the best way to efficiently control fans...

Yeah, it's definately the most efficient way of controlling motors.

I mean, ALL speed controllers for motors in RC models use pulse width modulation. (and these motors often draw over 20 Amps :eeek: )

::EDIT:: The only problem with PWM is the growling noise you get at low speeds. In high frequency speed controllers (the pulses are much faster), the growling noise is more of a whine, which is much less annoying.
