I have 3 picked out, all from different generations. All nvidia too. Im not much for knowing about ATI at the moment so thats why i didnt pick any out. It needs to have dual dvi, pcie x16, and 256 megs of memory (dedicated). Suggestions on which way to go?

Heres the ones i have picked out

Only issue with the 7800GT is that it is a little pricey, i was going to say 200 tops but i saw that was 280 so i thought id up the max price it to put it in the mix. I was leaning toward the 7300GS since this will have 2 gigs of ram. Does ATI have a better solution? Or do their drivers suck bad enough that i should just go nvidia?
    Found these too, any good?

Wait a week for the expected launch of the 7900 series, see what they're like and what it does to prices.

Have to agree with Bladestorm here, even if its only £35, thats about $100 over there.
(After rip off Britain charges etc)

So how much will the 7900's cost, or are you saying wait and get the 7800GT because prices will likely drop?

Prices on the 7800s should drop when the 7900s are avaliable.

The 7800 is a great card, 2 of my friends bought it because of my recommendation of it, and love it. :hehe:

Still no votes for the 7300 or an ATi card?

    The 7300 is crap.
ATi's cards aren't gonna see much of a price drop, unless they try and compete with the 7900s.
