Try the Antec 300. It is the best sub 100 case, EVER.

Ahem, I beg to differ, the less well know CM 590 has better cooling, better cable management, more room, is sturdier (an issue with the CM 690 they fixed) and its basically the same goliath slab look of the Antec 300, in short its basically better than the Antec in everyway...

Are you both forgetting that cases like the Antec 902 and HAF 922 are under £100? If so why would you suggest a case closer to £50? :eyebrow:

When people say under £100 it probably means budget but you have a point

your best choice is the HAF 922, 2nd choice the Lancool K62 is amazing and the CM 590 third

+1 to the HAF922, 902 comes in a close second.

The HAF922 only beats the Antec 902 if you whack a giant side fan in it, at which point the price tops £100. I'd get the Antec and pocket the change.

The 902's cooling ability is overated, 200mm big boy + 3 120mm, plus the fact it looks as pleasing as a baboon's rear end, if you want a 902 buy a 1200, its less than 20 more and you'll get 2 more 120mm in strategic locations... If its the shiny anodized black interior that attracts you and the window look at the Lancool K62, much better design and arguably better build..

Your either gonna get a decent mid tower or el'cheapo full tower for sub £100 and when it comes to quality mid-towers theres no point looking at anything but Lian Li (imo theres no point in looking at anything but Lian Li for any price bracket, but I am a fanboy).

I'd buy any one of these myself (multiple links).

Yes they dont have 5 trillion 3km fans but you just dont need 'em with cases as well designed and built as a Lian Li. I got a Phenom II 720 and 4870 in my stuffed A05 with NO INTAKE FANS (just a big hole in the roof that I was planning on installing fans in) and i've never had a problem with temps, even when it was still quite mild.

The HAF922 is roomier inside than the 902 though, which is much nicer when you have long gfx cards, and also its easier to get a tidier case (which means better airflow). i like the way the HDs mount sideways too.

tbh i got 1-2 degrees off my max cpu temp when i went from a 300 to the 922. i also like the styling of the HAF922 (i realise not many would agree, although its a bit more subdued than the 902).

that sideways mounted blanking plate at the back it also a very neat touch, ill probably put in a SPDIF out or something similar.

anyway thats just my 2 pennies.

The ones on Ebuyer for under £100 are the CM 922, Antec 900/2, and the CM Storm Scout. All in stock.
It's six and two threes, really. You'll not struggle with components fitting in either, and they cool near-enough the same (the HAF is a little worse for GPU cooling, but a fan in the side would probs help this). I plop for the Antec (because I like it), but it's your call, and on this occasion, I'd base it on looks. It's all well and good arguing about delta T and room, but if you think it's ugly, you'll hate yourself for buying it.
