Notebooks Best way to clean when putting back together...

    hello i need help on this one well i have 2 laptops iv made 1 good out of the both but its grubby well mostly the keyborad and the mouse pad i was wondering how to clean it out as i wont to get rid of most of the gunck inside any ideas???

    I use IPA (isopropyl alcohol) for most cleaning needs. Hard to tell what sorta mess we're talking here (no, actually i don't want pictures :D ), but that generally cleans my keyboards just fine.

    I usually clean the CPU/GPU heatsink as well once the laptop is in pieces. If you're up to it then applying fresh TIM is never a bad thing!
