    Hey guys
I've got a piece of frosted perspex 330mm x 170mm for a small project I'm doing, and I want to light it up blue. The reason I chose frosted perspex is hopefully it will help diffuse a light to create a even glow rather than a bright light.

Just wondering what the best way to do this is? I want to achieve as even glow as possible. I was thinking of mounting led's in the edges of the perspex.

Has anyone done something similar before and how did you do it?

    Cheers :)

I've recently been experimenting with perspex for an upcoming mod. Found this page where he is doing what you describe, see halfway down:

I've found that drilling + mounting LEDs inside perspex tends to reflect the light inside the sheet, and show at the edges (kinda like Fiber-optic), probably not the desired effect you want.
