So the number of releases it took before Microsoft started locking the 'other platforms' out of Bethesda releases was... none, none at all.
As long as it's not a Windows Store exclusive too... and it's not shite.
I hope they release a Vulkan version.
I bet they are going to force this through that xbox horsesh*t they added to windows WITH windows store mentioned above.
Remember, they have a habit of ruining everything they touch.
Bit I didn't get was "if you don't have PC or Xbox hardware, you can play through game pass".
But apparently only on Android.
Cloud gaming in browser is in Beta at the min, for anyone with GP Ultimate (and also in the Insider program ,I think). It works surprisingly well.
Gotcha. But if you were on the insider programme, wouldn't that imply you had Windows ie. PC hardware?
Actually, just double checked, the only requirement to be invited to the Beta is to be a subscriber to GP Ultimate. Which to be fair, is a bit of a waste if you don't have an Xbox + pc, and yeah, currently limited to android for general access.
My point was more that once it's rolled out fully, games are playable on pretty much anything with a browser that a controller can be connected to. Works fine on Linux, and mobile browsers. I've not tried it on my TV yet...
