Bought BGE thru steam the other weekend, but never really had the time to play... Is it good? Or is it like a child's game?

You bet - the first game is one of the few games I've actually played through twice - it's just a brilliant mix of stealthy action with decent character-development and a good story too - I've never played anything else quite like it. The other day, I also spotted that Play.com has Beyond Good & Evil 2 for the PC available for pre-order, which is a good sign as I thought it was going to be a PS3/360-only game. I know a pre-order on Play doesn't necessarily mean it's definitely coming out, but I'm hoping it does get a PC release.

Please don't screw this one up, Ubisoft.

It's totally awesome, despite looking like a childs game.

    BGE is an awesome game.

@Joe: There has to be a better way to phrase the last sentence of the first paragraph. I believe it involves the word "climate" and "aftermath".

Playing through it right now. Halfway through I think. Brilliant game, and because of it's childish appearance I think it would be enjoyable for kids, but it's definitely fun as adult. It's the most fun to play when you let the 10 year old inside you play along.

Am definitely looking forward to this one.

I didn't even know they were making a second one.

    First one was top notch.
