Windows BFBC2 crashes to desktop

    Hey,

    im sure you have all heard about this but i wondered if anyone had a fix for this issue.

    friends game crashes to the desktop every 10-15mins.

    hes running windows 7 HP 64-bit
    athlon X2 6000+
    4GB DDR800
    1GB 5770 using latest drivers

    When I first installed it via steam that happened to me aswell.
    A clean install of the game solved the problem.

    heard disabling UPnP on the router also helps.

    Back when I was having this issue it was rumoured all over ea forums to be particularly bad for people with realtek audio in their rigs, I have since upgrade my mobo as part of a rebuild, I no longer have realtek audio and I no longer have this issue! There are pages upon pages of self help tips on the bfbc2 forums on ea. Good luck, you'll need it!
