ok, how does this card compare to the rest. I have about $150-$200 to spend at best buy for my new computer
    http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage...66577&productCategoryId=cat01151&type=product
I am getting "AMD Athlon XP 2500+ Barton (overclock it), Asus A7NN8X-E Delux NForce2 Ultra 400 Chipset Motherboard, and a Zalman CNPS3100-Plus Coppper CPU Cooler, WD 120gb 7200rpm hd 1024mb memory pc-3200"
so im pretty much stuck on a graaphics card. thanks guys...

a 5500oc = no.. for can get a 9600xt on newegg, but i am guessing that you have a best buy gift card and thats why you want to get one at best buy. well they should have a 9600xt there for $200 (last time i checked there anyways). best bang for your limited buck.

ok that link doesnt do anything for me
but if it is an FX5500 for a price between $150-200 then certainly not
Best card you will be able to get in that price range is probably a 6600GT, although an AGP one may be just over budget at the moment

alternatively a ATI 9800pro is still a good performer, $180 from www.newegg.com (where you can get an FX5500 for $67 btw)

if youre stuck with best buy prices, then you may have to go a bit lower, but a 5500 is certainly a sub-par card. especially for $200
