Bi Colour LEDs. They're a bit of a night mare as far as i'm concerned... I dunno where to get them from and i don't really know what colours are sold.

    So I was thinking...

I was hoping to do something similay to JEEVES' mod from http://forums.bit-tech.net/showthread.php?t=55141&page=2 and it got me thinking.

Instead of having 1 Bi colour LED, would it be possible to have 2 single colour LEDS and wire them up ???

I'm assuming that with the bi colour ones there are 2 + legs and one Ground??

    does this make sense???

What's the prob with Bi-colours? Easy.. two cathodes and one anode. Just a shared ground. Try LSDiodes or Farnell. Can get all colours now, including blue/red and blue/white.

um. you can do it with 2 seperate LEDs i did it before but to be honest you are basically just wiring it up like a bi-colour LED would be wired up :S

actually, you're doing more work. Two ground legs to solder now, not one.
