    That Act is for using the Military as Law Enforcement, so for example it would have prevented him from using it to police the protests last year without the approval of Congress.
    However, it has nothing to do with the military enforcing an election result (since that isn't a policing matter to begin with).

    What will stop Trump from using the military is that even if he found someone dumb enough in the military to accept such an order Biden could still just waltz into the Oval Office and then order the military to go home (and due to it being 100% ineffective no one in the military would accept the order from Trump anyway).

    I've been watching it all unfold on The Horror Stream That Is Twitter. Given Pelosi's request to deploy the National Guard has been denied, at least for now, it's beginning to smell a lot like coup. Blimey.

    That's a real picture. 2021 off to a great start, I see. Also read an as yet unsubstantiated report that one person has been shot, possibly one of the terrorists/protesters (delete according to your personal politics.)

    All it means is law enforcement numbers will have to be bolstered from sources other than the National Guard.
    Think ICE, ATF etc... Just takes a couple hours extra to organize.
