That is perfectly normal for every US President, or have you forgotten the meltdown the press had when Obama wore a tan suit?

I actually agree with you both!

Even just a little more sense on his part would help. But then you start looking at some of the people he's been associated with...

I'm not sure the rotten stuff really matters.

Trump voters aren't going to read a story on Huffpost and think "you know what, they have a point, he's clearly insane"
Nor are Biden voters going to read Breitbart and think "woah they're right, he really is anti-America"
And if either outlet dared post anything against their poster child, their readers would just go elsewhere.

    It's all a pointless circle-jerk.

You're either smart enough to weigh up facts aside from all of the noise and decide yourself, of you've already decided who you're voting for long ago.

To be fair, if someone brings up B***bart you can just dismiss everything wholesale as it is nothing but a white supremacy propaganda fake news site that rose to prominence on the back of soon to be convicted felon Steve Bannon.

So there is something he can do on a small scale.

Unimpressive, call me when the Trump supporters start gunning each other down in a fit of drunken rage, it's a matter of time.

    So ehh...

1: He doesn't bother denying he actually said and meant it.
2: "They where good and proper answers" is basically the exact same defence he attempted when he got caught with that Ukraine call (remember "perfect call"?).

Trump is a foul specimen but McConnell is actually worse, imho. Just cartoonishly evil.

It also demonstrates why flipping the senate is of equal or, imo, greater importance than winning the presidency for the Dems.

Trump could only do the **** he's done and get away with it with the senate's blessing and McConnell controls what does and doesn't go before the senate.

If Biden wins but the senate remains GOP-controlled, then Biden [like Obama] is getting sweet **** all through the senate.
