Anyone heard their new albums? Biffy Clyro's infinity land is pretty cool, but the screaming is beginning to piss me right off... Jimmy Eat World's new offering is a little strange. Seems a little too loved up for my liking - especially seeing as their type of music can't really be mixed with the whole love thing...
Agree with u on Jimmy Eat World's new disc - i guess its not as immediate as 'Bleed American' but there are some goods hooks. Kinda tails off towards the end of the album tho. Personally, im disappointed i hadnt heard Biffy Clyro earlier - a friend just lent me the cds and im really liking what they do (especially considering the usual 3 piece band limitations). They've got a good ear for intricate melodies but aren't blatant about it. And its nice to see them getting so popular these days (especially as the the music seems to work on so many levels for different people). They've got the technical ability, too. Good band....
