Any idea what those legal reasons are, I'm talking about the thing that's happening on big brother live right now where they cut the sound for "legal reasons" when nothing special is even happening?

Essentially you can't say certain things on telly, regardless of what is is.. Because BB is jsut a bunch of guys sitting round chatting they may say things which are unsuitable for broadcasting to the nation.

You can't say too many ****'s before 9pm, you can't say XXX famous person sleeps with XXXX if it's not true etc.. so they have no choice but to edit it.

BTW, the delay is 15 mins for those interested :)

Only very crude language (strong sexual comments) gets cut after 9/10 pm.

And most of the time when you see "legal reasons" carp it could also be because they're mentioning companys/famous or political people/very personal information.

An example of this was when Jade was talking about a patient picking up a knife to the denist she works for and she mentioned names and started giving really detailed information, so E4 promptly cut the sound.

But i think i heard somewhere that the internet feeds are 100 and 10% uncut.:eyebrow: But its like £10 a month :eeek: .
And even during the 'day' all language gets through (even though time doesn't really exist on the internet being that different countrys = different time zones)

Anyway just a bit of FYI.

    Later.

PS: You gotta check this out, is classic.

You know they only turn the sound right down as well... if you turn the TV up loud when they do it, you can still hear it ;) :D

Just have your finger on vol down for when it comes back on ;) :hehe:

or just wire up a 2nd high power amp so when the soun flicks down, turn it on & the muted sound comes from the other speakers, then when it comes up, hit the power button, easier than waiting for your set to turn up or down
