ebuyer just keep selling out of that monitor! Gotta be good! :D

Also I would change the RAM to this...

    http://www.scan.co.uk/products/8gb-...pc3-12800-(1600)-non-ecc-cas-9-9-9-24-xmp-15v

Much easier to work with and I dare say would fit under the Be Quiet! Cooler. Also since you're spending a good deal of money on a performance case and such, why not get a Corsair AX750 or AX850 PSU? That'd support a good deal of what's to come in the future. The HX650 just strikes me as a bit of a contrast to the other components, although, yes it is perfectly capable!

    More DVD for your money...

You will have issues fitting the Vengeance modules I suspect, that cooler is very large. Low profile XMS3 might be better.

Edit: or the kit Blogins suggested. Looks much nicer too.

Here are some recommendations to save some money without jeopardizing on performance too much:

Coolermaster 212+ cooler instead of the Dark Rock - http://www.scan.co.uk/products/cool...iet-fan-lga775-1155-1156-1366-am2-am2plus-am3

It's a great performer and is very, very well reputed and received for those on a budget or even for enthusiasts/overclockers that don't want to go over the top on a cooler.

    Corsair TX650 V2 PSU - http://www.scan.co.uk/products/650w...s-85-eff-sli-eps-12v-80-plus-bronze-140mm-fan

It's not modular as opposed to the HX series, but it is definitely a newer model since it was released not too long ago, and still features the premium quality build as you'd expect nothing less from Corsair.

Lastly, with regards to the SSD, I would stick with the M4 for now since the sandforce-based drives from OCZ are currently not as 100% safe and worry free due to the firmware issues. They say the latest v2.09 one has fixed this, but I would take on Crucial's reputation of reliability and stability any day (that is not to say the vertexes are faster of course).

wow, that low profile vengence RAM looks sweet! :D

I would not get a tX650 as it isn't modular, nad the 212+ is okay but a Gelid Tranquillo is better at not much extra cost.

..so you would going to buy an SSD that is the same price just to guarantee ~1month stability. Strange choice Drekz o.o

The Tranquillo is my secondary choice if they don't have the Darkrock in stock at the time.
Like I said, my oc's aren't going to be hugely aggressive so i'm not so sure I need to spend that much on a cooler.
Also as you guys have thrown the cat amongst the pigeons, i'm stuck on GFX card AND SSD now :p

The SSD doesn't need to be huge as it's only going to be used for windows and maybe one game at a time. Therefore I don't need anything over 64gb by any stretch.

Just wondering with the gfx situation i'm in now....

How beneficial/detrimental would 2x 6850 in xfire be compared to a single 6970? Or the nvid equivalent 2x460 compared to a single 570?

The price for all 4 setups would be roughly the same, however I know that xfire/sli is very driver dependant and all that. I've always just liked the idea of it.

Also as for the SSD, anyone have a definitive answer on OCZ or Crucial 64gb variants?

    GTX 460 SLI
    GTX 570
    6850 CF
    6970

I can say that the GTX570 and HD5970 trade blows in many games but the 5970 comes out on top slightly more often. For BC2 CF6850 seem the best, but with newer games they might struggle. So depending on if you dont mind upgrading for better performance(adding another card for SLI), a GTX560 Ti might be a better option.

    Well, it's bought...
£1510 in the end so pretty damn bang on budget.

You can criticise constructively if you so choose. However it's bought now so....um..... Fnar fnar! :p

EDIT: Is it meant to hurt that much pressing the 'Order' button? I've never spent so much money in one sitting except in a travel agents :p

    Bloody hope so!
Went for the insurance in transit option purely because I hate something arriving broken/not as it should be...
Not that, the insurance will stop that. However, I know a few of my local DPD drivers and i'll just say they're not the gentlest of folk around corners >.<
