right on, I used a Hammer Bit , inspired by giger's landshaft XIX
Black Plastic loom in (1/4" and 1/2" diameter) will be embedded and intertwined throughout the bezel and top panel. The entire skull will be painted matte black
reminds me of the helghast of killzone
SNAP, just what I was thinking lol.
needs some orange glowing eyes and vader hat
I originally thought he would use the power and reset buttons with oranges LEDs as "eyes".
Fantastic project bill, you are overkilling the details as always! Do not listen to the non-believers that want their own case with a few pretty LEDs to put on display, they should have gone to me for that
The project isn't finished yet...lol Thanks for your comments! Ok, back to the workbench
thanks dude. my girlfriend is officially jealous. And so am I! <waynes world moment> we're not worthy!
Yay - keep it coming Bill - looking great so far
I really am glad to see someone else with a lifesize human skull. I have a couple for my steampunk projects.
Rods through the head remind me of a friend who broke his neck in a Harley crash and had to have a medical HALO surgically screwed to his skull. We would bring a Gallon of vodka and the nurses would supply the orange juice. Seems the security guards were 'elsewhere'.
Evil looking for months but he recovered as well as any of us ever have.
I wonder if Giger ever saw a HALO?
I carved a basic shape first, for the bezel. Then I'll carve and sculpt notches and crevices into it
This is going somewhere.
Where's my popcorn?
Yes, a trip to the hardware store... or at least I will be going on sat
skully is painted, Black & White stills, help set the mood
Power & Reset
Thank you for the nice comment! Skully has gone back into his 5.25 column
Wow nice sculpted skull ! It's a good idea to put it over the fans.
I wish that MNPCTECH had opened another set of their doors in Calgary, AB Canada. I would totally work there for my 4 months off college every year, then once I am done college, I will gladly take up permanent position there...you rock guys!!!
Cold enough in 'Skinnyapolis' - Calgary can get worse.
Stay in the US Bill, shipping from Canada is a righteous pain!
Ye - really coming together - looks top duder
I have to agree with John...We just had this freak blizzard like storm yesturday, but it was all over in an hour and left us with a foot of snow. But the weather turns around really fast in Calgary but to what no one can tell. It could get better or worse.
Although I don't know about shipping...because I have never shipped to anywhere before...
But still, Alberta especially Calgary could use some diversity in the types of work available here since it all revolves around Oil and Gas, I am sick and tired of all the Oil and Gas jobs. I am a modder and I need something that can satisfy my hunger for modding. Hell, I will even do robotics if I have to...
