Try bumping up the HT, chipset and RAM voltages by .1V or so each (careful not to void the RAM's warranty by exceeding specification if it's at fault here). DFI problems are a bitch to sort out. It might be worth trying an 8 or 24 hour clear if there's no solution in sight - that's solved out a number of problems before. It's also possible that the newer BIOS has changed some memory values that were previously fine... what are the major settings that you're using? It ight be worth loosening the timings and putting it down to 2T to try and get the RAM recognised.
are you sure you used the right file when you flashed your mobo, and not one for some random motherboard?
If that were the case, it probably just wouldn't start at all. Thinking about it, I did know of someone who did that... needless to say, a replacement was on the cards. AlexB can rest assured that the problem is quite that bad
Bah the problem is with the bios not being compatible with the memory. clearing the bios for 24 hours or even doing a monkey dance won't fix it.. believe it or not If you can boot stabily into windows with one stick, do that and flash to a different bios.
Success! I used 704-2BTA - as I couldnt find the 702. Everything works properly now Cheers for all the help
