ok i have the ABIT SOC939 3RD EYE with the amd 64 3000 winnie, my main question is how important is it to update the bios? , cause my dad dosnt seem to keen , my m8 did it a while back on the nf7-s but the bios got wrecked so had to send off for a new bios, also i dont really want to do it cause when i first got this board ,if any one remembers there was an issue with the bios and the av8 3rd eye so i had to take it to london to get it flashed , so i dont want to stuff it up , if i was going to update it , it would have to be a smooth operation with miltary precision as i DONT want any stuff ups, cuss im happy at the moment with it,. its just after reading my post about currupt mem and some one put a link to the steam site and they said somthing about make sure sound drivers and bios make sure you have the latest ones etc, also i dont have a sound card as my board has a good one built in greatfull if any body can help
