Well it's HEAVILY inspired in Fallout 1 & 2. Actually the original concept was an UNDERGROUND city. But as they thought it woud be too obvious, they migrated to UNDERWATER.

It is a good game. Not fantastic but good.

Oh no...it looks like it's a "Games for Windows" game :worried:

I didn't buy the first game because of the stupid copy protection (still haven't played it ever) and this will knock the sequel on the head too.

Just release it on Steam with no copy protection poo poo and I'll buy it. Easy.

Why would anyone every want something on steam that has 3rd party copy protection and requires you to log into an additional program just to even save the game... why does my time and system resources need to be wasted with this crap. When companies start releasing games instead of a dam software village maybe I will be interested in buying again.

I personally found the whole FOV argument a moot point. I plated it in widescreen and not once did I think "damn them 4:3 guys and their extra 20 degrees of vertical view!"

It's not like it was a multiplayer game where this would have been an unfair advantage, it didn't bother me one jot. Besdies, as the devs explained it, they decided upon the perfect horizontal FOV (just enough to make you feel claustrophobic but not so much it felt unpleasent to play), and then stuck with it for 4:3 and widescreen resolutions.

    Indeed...

They've just replaced one form of limited activations with another.

    net result = no change

    Greetings!
They get the headlines. Its all that matters.
Same thing with the "End of DRM" on the original Bioshock.
    Great spinners!
