just had a read over here, doesn't look good folks. If this is the case i'll not bother buying it, wasn't entirely convinced by the demo but i think this may have swung it.

 

Yeah like that's gonna be something that wouldn't be fixed by some piratey hackers anyways. I wouldn't worry about something like that.

No but here's the rub, if you buy it and pirate it what's the point in buying it. All it does is send the message that the consumer is willing to put up with this ****, no amount of crying on forums will make any difference, the only thing that publishers care about is the bottom line. I won't buy this either physical or on steam until its patched.

Seriously though, I'm glad I have my 360 and I will get the game. But this is becoming a complete debacle for PC users. Even though someone I just spoke to actually stole the game from a store in the US (off the shelf) which pisses me off

Even though it's cropped on the WS settings, I still think it looks more enjoyable in that AR than 4:3.

I would have thought that you buy a WS screen for the AR, not because the extra field of vision that you get most of the time.

I only have a 17" 4:3 monitor, so it's a bit small to go WS for me, even if I could.

 

from looking at the 2k forums it seems that the problem with only 2 activations is real.....

time for me to join the dark side.

and, i really hope someone sues the **** out of them for it.

the game is awesome! i am lovin it

tried it in widescreen and in normal, and honestly you can barely notice the difference gameplay-wise.

Whats this about only 2 activations? I'm gonna have to actually read the EULA and see if that's in there I hate legalese

 

It's actually Sony that will enforce the activation limit

 

Securerom seem to be passing the buck on to 2K.

 

there are rumors now on the 2k forum about the game being delayed in europe to the 31...
could it be that they realized that they wont get away in europe with the 2x only activiation limit? (read emergency patch to remove that limit)?

 

Read on the gamespot review that their 360 version started to develop jitters of between 1 and 5 secs after they played the game for several hours, but no other review I've read mentions it anyone else seen this actually happen?

 

Mine jitters more than a Parkinson's sufferer.

 

Is that caused by the game or the console, just out of interest?

 

Quite frankly this game is pointless because you can do it all in Garry's Mod

Must be the console. I've seen and played it on three seperate 360s and I've never had any stuttering. Clean your disk drives and come back to me.

Still, nice to see that Hugo's been working hard, only took him 3 hours you know...
