no problem here, I would much prefer late and done well than on time and ****
What platform should I play it on?
Let's hope there are no further delays. And that EA aren't going to try DRM'ing the PC version to the eyeballs.
I thought the PC version was already done? If so, why delay it just becasue the consolez? I think many in the industry want Pc to die based on their actions.
Because they don't want people who want this game to go buy it on the PC. They want them to buy it on consoles.
I fear there might be a 'minor delay' of the PC version announced soon...
The spiritual successor to Baldur's Gate?
Can it be played on anything other than PC?!
if you have a pc capable of playing this you'd be mad to play it on anything else.
I'm actually happy with this news on two counts, firstly they are taking their time to complete and secondly this clearly indicates the title was developed primarily with PC in mind. Great stuff.
November 6th is fine by me - means I'll have been paid already
Not that it really matters. My PC isn't up to running it in all it's PC graphical glory anyway.
can't wait for this! should be faboo! .. hopefully they won't f@#$ themselves by using stupid DRM schemes like they did for Mass Effect
i've got high hopes for Dragon Age after being sorely disapointed by Neverwinter nights 2
fingers crossed for more of the heady days of baldurs gate adventuring
phew, I read the heading and my heart sank. Really thats not too bad in game terms though, I`ll be more than happy to wait.
Depending on how tactical the fighting is i`d say PC, although the 40" tv would make it look nice, controllers are too fiddley to make the game fun. hmmm i just hope the delay isn`t to dumb the whole experience down to fit in with the console experience.
Hmm i'm contemplating which platform to play it on, I have PC or Xbox at my disposal, PC more than capable but i do tend to play anything other than FPS or RTS on console..
I remember when the PC version was going to come out before all the others, sigh. I don't mind other than on principle though, my last exam is on nov 7, so this eliminates the need to fight temptation
As a side note:
"Dragon Age: Origins itself is Bioware's second big release of this year, with Mass Effect 2 also aiming for a pre-Christmas release this year"
Lolwat? I could've sworn Mass Effect 2 was always scheduled for March 2010.
