So - here we all are in sunny Bristol (well, except for Fly - we're still awaiting his imminent arrival).

As token new bloke, It's a bit odd meeting guys you only know via their ramblings on this site. But they seem harmless. Well - mostly....

We've already had deep and meaningful (read: beer fulled) conversations about what's legal and what's a 'tort' (thanks to Haz & Macro (who wouldn't let it lie)); We've had plenty of coverage of RTT's head on the webcam; And Macro's had a burst of tourette's syndrome while describing his trip down here.

Me - I'm just sat in the corner keeping quiet, and soaking in the geekiness off it all.

Um well I didn't see the thread in GD before posting so GOO's post seemed strange. What's it doing in the 'tech News' forum and wasn't there already a Moderator's meetup? Also for some reason I thought Macroman lived in the US so it was a pretty large leap to visit you in Bristol. And it seems I missed last year's BiT Brother (wasn't very active on the forums till a few months after registering).

 

I am curious why you think I was in the US? This is not a dig, I am intrigued.

FYI: There's a Bristol, Connecticut which has a pretty large NASCAR track. Maybe that's it?

 

lol kna, it's fine by me. You asked me and those were the reasons.

I'm not sure why but I affliated you with linear and ZapWizard I guess, who are both great modders and are both in the US. It was just a subconcious assumption.
